Looking forward to the handful of shows we have in the US next week. As I have said before, the prospect of rolling into unfamiliar cities is quite exciting. We promise there will be more shows throughout the rest of the US during the early months of next year. Hopefully a more extensive tour as early as January. In the meantime we have just been writing and playing as much as possible. Very often in this job you get caught up in touring and don't find the time to continue writing, that is until the next album comes along. We wanted to make an effort this time round to continue writing whenever possible. This should provide us with a wealth of material when the time comes to record another album.
Last couple of weeks have been interesting as I broke a bone in my right hand about a month ago. This has made playing instruments that require two hands kind of challenging. Apart from the inconvenience it hasn't been too bad. I am hoping by next week, it will have come around to the point where I can actually play all the old material. Next week's shows should be an adventure...
On the Canadian front, we are trying to sort out a way we can do another cross country tour. We toured the county so many times on 'Caught by the Window', but on this record have only made it across in full once. We all are eager to do so again, however timing, as always, is the challenge.
Hope to see many of you south of the border in the next two weeks. Thanks again for all the support.
Till next time,
Todd |
